Fall Directed Drawing

Looking for something to keep your students engaged, inspired, and quiet? Stop Looking! You’ve found it. Directed drawing activities are such a fun break from your normal writing curriculum.

As a fourth and fifth grade teacher, I always feel that my students never got much of a chance to write about something creative. It seems like we are always working on a county prompt, or a specific style of writing, which takes away their freedom of choice. That’s why once in awhile, I like to break away from my normally scheduled lessons and throw in something that’s just plain fun.

A great way to do this is with a directed drawing and creative writing activity.
