The End-of-Year Activity My Students Begged for (Yes, Really)

A few weeks ago, we had one of those perfect spring days in Michigan — 80°, sunny, and full of "Can we go outside early?" energy.

I told my students: "You’ve got a choice. Free build time, or extra recess."

And they said…

That’s when I knew I had to share the activity with other teachers.

What Is Curipod — and Why Are My Students Obsessed?

Curipod is a free, teacher-paced platform where students can:

  • Engage with their classmates, not just hide behind a screen. Curipod gets my students TALKING!

  • Share ideas anonymously

  • Draw, vote, and reflect as a class

  • Engage in fun, low-prep lessons that feel like a game

The best part? Every single student has a voice — even the shy ones.

And the activity I used with them? It was a simple, powerful end-of-year reflection — filled with silly prompts, class voting, and meaningful memories.

Want to Use This Activity With Your Class?

I’ll send it to you for free — but first, you’ll need to sign up for a Curipod account using my link. (free + no credit card needed)

The activity will not work unless you sign up for a free account first.

After you sign up, I’ll send you the full activity — no prep required.

Take a look inside the activity right here!

I’ve been a teacher long enough to know how chaotic May can feel. This activity gave me:

  • A meaningful way to wrap up the year

  • Hilarious moments (the kids will draw a pig in a tutu riding a skateboard 🛼🐷)

  • Real reflection in the middle of all the end-of-year chaos

I hope it gives your class the same joy. 💛

Grab yours here!

Once you are signed up for Curipod, using the link above, fill out the form below and I will email you the link to the activity!

Don’t Wait! I promise your students will love it! Mine sure do!
